Hammond FT900HA1BK 900 CFM 1U Rack Cooling Tray, 115V w/ Switch

The FT900HA1BK is a 1U rack mount fan tray built for 19" rack mounting, using nine thermally protected ball-bearing fans to deliver 900 CFM of free-flow air. It is intended for IT, telecom, AV, industrial automation and server installations where heat builds up faster than the cabinet's own ventilation can handle. Because the tray mounts directly into the rack rather than the cabinet shell, airflow can be placed exactly where it is needed: at the bottom as an intake, at the top as an exhaust, or directly beneath heat-producing switches and servers for spot cooling.

Construction is heavy-duty mild steel in a black finish, with integrated finger guards above and below the fans to improve safety while keeping airflow unrestricted. This version includes a lighted power switch and a resettable circuit breaker on the front panel, so the tray can be switched locally and protected during operation.

Overall size is 1.75 in x 17 in x 18.5 in (44 mm x 432 mm x 470 mm), with a 19.000 in (482.60 mm) mounting flange width and a 1.750 in (44.45 mm) 1U front panel height. Shipping weight is 27.5 lbs (12.47 kg). The tray runs on 115 VAC at 50/60 Hz, drawing 1.5 running amps and 120 running watts, and is supplied with a 14/3 STJW power cord and moulded 3-prong NEMA 5-15P plug. Measured noise is 69 dB.

As a nine-fan model, FT900HA1BK includes an adjustable rear support bracket set that spans 7.90 in (201 mm) to 24.70 in (627 mm) for stability in deeper cabinets; support brackets mount to the rear combination rail with 10-32 hardware (10-32 screws and clip nuts not supplied), and extension brackets fasten with the supplied 6-32 screws and washers. The tray ships fully assembled and is TAA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, cRUus, and made in Canada.
