Hammond FP3F230 3U Rack Fan Panel, 3 Fans, 230 VAC, 315 CFM

The FP3F230 is a pre-assembled 3U rack mount active cooling panel with three factory-installed 230 VAC fans, built to provide exhaust cooling for server cabinets, network racks and telecom enclosures. It is aimed at IT and telecom teams, AV integrators and industrial controls builders who need to pull heat out of an enclosed rack without designing a custom fan tray.

The panel is formed from mild steel with a black powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The front panel is punched to provide integral finger protection, and the rear of each fan carries a metal safety guard. The three-fan configuration moves 315 CFM with a rated noise level of 63 dB, drawing 66 W at 50 Hz and 63 W at 60 Hz from a 230 VAC 50/60 Hz supply. A 72 in power cord is included, pigtailed for 230 VAC hardwiring; this model does not ship with a 115 VAC plug.

FP3F230 occupies 3 rack units with a mounting height of 5.25 in (133 mm) and a 482.60 mm (19.000 in) wide panel that fits standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. Drawing dimensions show a panel height of 132.54 mm (5.218 in), a front opening span of 461.98 mm (18.188 in) and an assembly depth of 53.98 mm (2.125 in). Shipping weight is 9 lbs (4.08 kg).

Use it as a standalone exhaust panel, or build a push-pull airflow path by pairing it with the Hammond PPGP fan grill panel and intake filters. The assembly is also compatible with Hammond thermostats for automatic temperature-controlled operation. Manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility, FP3F230 is TAA-compliant and both RoHS and REACH compliant.
