The Hammond EZPMFHD is a heavy duty mounting foot kit from the Eclipse Mounting Foot Kit EMF Series, packaged as a set of 4 feet made from clear zinc plated mild steel. It is intended for installers mounting painted mild steel wallmount enclosures externally.
The Hammond wallmount assembly instructions state that mounting foot kits are required to maintain NEMA 4/4X, UL and CSA external mounting requirements. They list the EZPMFHD as Mild Steel (Type 4), with intended enclosures EN4SD, ST, EN4TD, CN4SB and CN4ST.
New triangular flanges prevent the foot from rotating, while the foot can still be mounted sideways as well as top/bottom. The instructions show 3/8-16 mounting hardware with a sealing washer. The kit is field installable and the series maintains UL, CSA and NEMA ratings.
The EZPMFHD has a shipping weight of 0.48 lbs (0.22 kg), ships in a bag and is REACH and RoHS compliant. The EMF Series replaces part numbers EZPMF, ESSMF and ES16MF. For stainless enclosures that need a Type 4X rating, the series offers the Type 304 ESSMFHD and the Type 316 ES16MFHD.
