The Hammond ES16MFHD is a heavy duty mounting foot kit from the Eclipse Mounting Foot Kit EMF Series, supplied as a set of 4 feet in Type 316 stainless steel. It is intended for installers mounting stainless wallmount enclosures externally, where the mounting method must not compromise the enclosure rating.
According to the Hammond wallmount assembly instructions, mounting foot kits are required to maintain NEMA 4/4X, UL and CSA external mounting requirements, and the ES16MFHD is listed as Type 316 Stainless Steel (Type 4X) with EN4SDS16 as its intended enclosure. The series maintains UL, CSA and NEMA ratings and is field installable.
New triangular flanges prevent the foot from rotating, while the foot can still be mounted sideways as well as top/bottom. The assembly instructions show 3/8-16 mounting hardware with a sealing washer and hex bolt. The EMF Series replaces part numbers EZPMF, ESSMF and ES16MF.
The ES16MFHD has a shipping weight of 0.48 lbs (0.22 kg), ships in a bag and is REACH and RoHS compliant. For Type 304 stainless enclosures the series offers the ESSMFHD, and for mild steel enclosures the zinc plated EZPMFHD.
