The Hammond ESSMFHD is a heavy duty mounting foot kit from the Eclipse Mounting Foot Kit EMF Series, packaged as a set of 4 feet made from Type 304 stainless steel. It is intended for installers and facilities teams who need to mount a stainless wallmount enclosure externally while keeping its ratings intact.
The Hammond wallmount assembly instructions state that mounting foot kits are required to maintain NEMA 4/4X, UL and CSA external mounting requirements. They list the ESSMFHD as Type 304 Stainless Steel (Type 4X), with intended enclosures EN4SDSS, STSS, CN4SBSS and CN4STSS.
New triangular flanges prevent the foot from rotating, and the foot can be mounted sideways as well as top/bottom. The part drawing shows two 0.390 in diameter holes, an overall dimension of 2.73 in, a 1.53 in dimension and a 1.40 in top view dimension. The instructions show 3/8-16 mounting hardware with a sealing washer and hex bolt, tightened so the washer remains flat against the enclosure surface.
