Hammond EN4SD603612SSR 60x36x12-Inch Quarter-Turn 304 Stainless Enclosure

The EN4SD603612SSR is a 60 in x 36 in x 12 in (1,524 mm x 914 mm x 305 mm) Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 304 stainless steel. The manufacturer's description calls it an N4X Eclipse enclosure with extra quarter turns, and the door uses Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments, with a tall face and 12 in depth for substantial control layouts.

Construction is formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The door seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket and hangs on hidden hinges with stainless steel hinge pins. A door alignment guide is provided on 36 in wide enclosures, doors are removable and interchangeable, and the swing can be reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK. Cover and enclosure are natural brushed stainless steel.

The drawing shows a 34.31 in x 58.31 in door opening, a 36.00 in x 59.97 in door and 30.65 in x 55.87 in of clear space available on the door. Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 34.50 in x 58.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. The optional EP6036 inner panel, 58.20 in x 34.20 in, mounts on collar studs and is required at this width to maintain UL/CSA.

The EN4SD603612SSR is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. It ships in a box at 175 lbs (79.38 kg); the 316 version is EN4SD603612S16R.
