Hammond EN4SD423610SSR 42x36x10-Inch Quarter-Turn 304 Stainless Enclosure

The EN4SD423610SSR is an Eclipse Series Type 4X wallmount enclosure in 304 stainless steel, sized 42 in x 36 in x 10 in (1,067 mm x 914 mm x 254 mm). With a 10 in depth and a 36 in width, it gives panel builders and facility electricians a wide mounting area for electrical and electronic equipment that must be protected in a harsh industrial setting.

It is formed from 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip that sheds flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in place gasket seals the hinged door, which latches with Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns and hangs on hidden hinges with stainless steel pins. The door can be removed for modifications, is guided by a door alignment guide on this 36 in width, and can be re-hung to swing the other way using adapter kit EHLLSAK.

Per the drawing, the door opening is 34.31 in x 40.31 in, the door measures 35.97 in x 41.97 in, and the clear space available on the door is 30.65 in x 37.88 in. The 0.50 in wall mounting holes are on 34.50 in x 40.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. The optional EP4236 inner panel (40.20 in x 34.20 in) mounts on the collar studs and is required at this width to maintain UL/CSA.

The EN4SD423610SSR carries UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 ratings, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Shipping weight is 120 lbs (54.43 kg) in a box; the 316 version is EN4SD423610S16R.
