Hammond EN4SD423010SSR 42x30x10-Inch Quarter-Turn 304 Stainless Enclosure

The EN4SD423010SSR is a tall, 10 in deep Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure measuring 42 in x 30 in x 10 in (1,067 mm x 762 mm x 254 mm) in 304 stainless steel. Its hinged door is secured with Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns, and the manufacturer describes this version as having extra quarter turns. It is aimed at engineers and electricians housing electrical or electronic equipment in harsh industrial locations where a narrower 30 in width fits the wall.

The enclosure is formed from 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door, which uses hidden hinges with stainless steel hinge pins and can be removed or reversed (with adapter kit EHLLSAK). The finish is natural stainless steel, smooth and brushed.

Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 28.50 in x 40.50 in centres, with a hardware kit of panel mounting nuts and sealing washers included. The optional inner panel is EP4230 at 40.20 in x 28.20 in (1021 mm x 716 mm), fitted on the collar studs; because the unit is wider than 24 in, an inner panel is required to maintain UL/CSA.

The EN4SD423010SSR is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IP66 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001). It ships boxed at 110 lbs (49.90 kg). No 316 stainless equivalent is listed for this size.
