Hammond EN4SD36308S16 36x30x8 in 316 Stainless Type 4X Wall Enclosure

The EN4SD36308S16 is a 36 in high x 30 in wide x 8 in deep (914 x 762 x 203 mm) Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 316 stainless steel. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it in harsh, industrial environments, offering a large wall-hung envelope where 316 stainless has been specified.

The body is formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket. The door closes with Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns and hangs on stainless steel hinge pins; it is removable and interchangeable, and the swing can be reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK. The finish is natural stainless steel, smooth brushed.

The drawing lists a 28.49 in x 34.49 in door opening (W x H), a 29.97 in x 35.97 in door, 28.00 in x 34.00 in of clear space available on the door, an inside depth of 8.70 in, and an overall top-view depth of 8.87 in. The wall mounting holes are Ø 0.50 in, and the included hardware kit supplies panel mounting nuts and sealing washers.

This enclosure ships without a panel. As it is more than 24 in wide, the optional EP3630 inner panel (34.20 in x 28.20 in) is required to maintain UL/CSA, and a mounting foot kit is required for UL/CSA external mounting. Ratings: UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12; NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13; IEC 60529 IP 66. Shipping weight is 77 lbs (34.93 kg); the 304 version is EN4SD36308SS.
