Hammond EN4SD363016SS 36x30x16 Deep Type 4X 304 Stainless Wall Enclosure

The EN4SD363016SS is the 16 in (406 mm) deep version of the 36 x 30 in Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure, made from 304 stainless steel. Designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it in harsh, industrial environments, it gives integrators room for tall devices on a large panel. The ordering table lists this size in 304 stainless only.

Construction is formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket. The door uses hidden hinges with stainless steel hinge pins and Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns, and it can be removed for modifications and reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK. The finish is natural, smooth brushed stainless.

The drawing shows 16.70 in inside depth, 16.87 in depth including the door, a 34.49 x 28.49 in door opening and 34.00 x 28.00 in of clear space on the door. Rear mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 34.50 x 28.50 in spacing. Because the enclosure is wider than 24 in (600 mm), an inner panel is required to maintain UL/CSA; the optional EP3630 (34.20 x 28.20 in) mounts on collar studs provided.

It is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. The included hardware kit has panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall holes. Shipping weight is 100 lbs (45.36 kg).
