The EN4SD363012S16 is a 36 x 30 x 12 in (914 x 762 x 305 mm) Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 316 stainless steel. It combines a large face with 12 in of depth for bulkier devices and is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it against harsh industrial environments.
The enclosure is formed from 14 gauge 316 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door. Hidden hinges with stainless steel hinge pins carry the door, which closes with Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns. The finish is natural stainless steel, smooth and brushed.
According to the drawing, inside depth is 12.70 in, depth including the door 12.87 in, the door opening 34.49 x 28.49 in and clear space on the door 34.00 x 28.00 in. Rear mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 34.50 x 28.50 in spacing. Since the enclosure is wider than 24 in (600 mm), an inner panel is required to maintain UL/CSA; the optional EP3630 (34.20 x 28.20 in) mounts on the collar studs provided.
It is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall holes is included. Shipping weight is 90 lbs (40.82 kg). The 304 version is EN4SD363012SS.
