Need a wide, 8 in deep stainless box for a wall? The EN4SD24308S16 is a 316 stainless steel Type 4X Eclipse enclosure, 24 in x 30 in x 8 in (610 mm x 762 mm x 203 mm), intended to house electrical and/or electronic equipment in harsh, industrial wallmount applications. It is the 316 stainless steel version of this size; the 304 stainless equivalent is EN4SD24308SS.

Construction is formed from 14 gauge stainless steel, continuously welded with seams ground smooth. The door seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket and closes with Latch Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns; hinge pins are also stainless. A formed lip keeps flowing liquids and contaminants out, and the natural stainless finish is smooth and brushed.

Per the part drawing, the door opening is 28.49 in wide by 22.49 in high, with 28.00 x 22.00 in of clear space available on the door. Inside depth is 8.70 in, and wall mounting holes (Ø0.50 in) are spaced 28.50 in by 22.50 in. Shipping weight is 60 lbs (27.22 kg). Collar studs are provided for an inner panel; the matching optional panel is EP2430, 22.20 in (564 mm) high by 28.20 in (716 mm) wide.

The EN4SD24308S16 is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (CSA Cert. LR21001), and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements; because this enclosure is 30 in wide, an inner panel is also required to maintain UL/CSA. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, and the included hardware kit supplies panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes.
