Hammond EN4SD24308SS 24x30x8 in 304 Stainless Type 4X Wall Enclosure

The EN4SD24308SS is a 24 in high x 30 in wide x 8 in deep Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure built from 304 stainless steel. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it in harsh, industrial environments, making it a fit for control panel builders, electricians and OEM engineers who need a wide, shallow Type 4X box on a wall.

Construction is formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket. The cover and body carry a natural stainless steel smooth brushed finish. The door hangs on hidden hinges with stainless steel hinge pins and closes with Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns; it can be removed for modifications, and the swing can be reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK.

Per the drawing, the door opening measures 28.49 in x 22.49 in (W x H), the clear space available on the door is 28.00 in x 22.00 in, and inside depth is 8.70 in. Wall mounting uses Ø 0.50 in holes, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included.

This part ships without a panel. Collar studs accept the optional EP2430 inner panel (22.20 in x 28.20 in). Because this enclosure is wider than 24 in, the inner panel is required to maintain UL/CSA, and a mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Ratings cover UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP 66. A 316 stainless version is offered as EN4SD24308S16.
