Hammond EN4SD242412SSWH 24x24x12-Inch White 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The EN4SD242412SSWH is a 24 in x 24 in x 12 in (610 mm x 610 mm x 305 mm) Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 304 stainless steel with a white painted finish. Compared with the 8 in deep 24 x 24 size, its 12 in depth gives extra room behind the door for deeper electrical and electronic equipment that must be protected against harsh, industrial environments.

It is formed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip keeps flowing liquids and contaminants away from the opening. The cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth RAL 9003 White powder coating inside and out. A 3 point handle in 316 stainless steel with a padlockable feature secures the door, which seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket and hangs on stainless steel hinges and hinge pins. Door stiffeners are provided where required, and doors are removable and interchangeable.

The drawing shows a 22.49 in x 22.49 in door opening and a 23.97 in x 23.97 in door. Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 22.50 in x 22.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. The optional EP2424 inner panel, 22.20 in x 22.20 in (564 mm x 564 mm), mounts on the provided collar studs.

The EN4SD242412SSWH is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IP66. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, includes a bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure, and ships boxed at 43 lbs (19.50 kg).
