Hammond EN4SD30248SSWH 30x24x8-Inch White 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The EN4SD30248SSWH is a 30 in x 24 in x 8 in (762 mm x 610 mm x 203 mm) Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 304 stainless steel, painted white. Its taller 30 in height on a 24 in width and 8 in depth gives a vertical layout for electrical and electronic equipment that must be protected in harsh, industrial environments, in installations that call for a white finish.

It is formed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip keeps out flowing liquids and contaminants. Cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth RAL 9003 White powder coating inside and out. The hinged door locks with a 3 point handle in 316 stainless steel with a padlockable feature, seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket, and uses stainless steel hinges and hinge pins. Door stiffeners are provided where required, and doors are removable and interchangeable.

The drawing lists a 22.49 in x 28.49 in door opening and a 23.97 in x 29.97 in door. Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 22.50 in x 28.50 in centres, with an included hardware kit of panel mounting nuts and sealing washers. The optional EP3024 inner panel measures 28.20 in x 22.20 in (716 mm x 564 mm) and mounts on the provided collar studs.

The EN4SD30248SSWH is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IP66. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, has a bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure, and ships boxed at 46 lbs (20.87 kg).
