Hammond EN4SD24248SSWH 24x24x8-Inch White 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The EN4SD24248SSWH is a compact, square Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure measuring 24 in x 24 in x 8 in (610 mm x 610 mm x 203 mm). It is made from 304 stainless steel and finished in a recoatable smooth RAL 9003 White powder coating inside and out, giving the corrosion resistance of stainless steel with a clean white appearance. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments.

The body is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The hinged door is secured with a 3 point handle in 316 stainless steel with a padlockable feature and seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket. Hinges and hinge pins are stainless steel, door stiffeners are provided where required, and doors can be removed for modifications and are interchangeable.

The drawing shows a 22.49 in x 22.49 in door opening and a 23.97 in x 23.97 in door. Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 22.50 in x 22.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for those holes is included. Collar studs are provided for the optional EP2424 inner panel, which measures 22.20 in x 22.20 in (564 mm x 564 mm).

The EN4SD24248SSWH is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. A bonding stud is fitted on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure. It ships in a box at 57 lbs (25.85 kg).
