Hammond EN4SD24208WSS 24x20x8 in Window Door Type 4X Stainless Enclosure

The EN4SD24208WSS is a 24 in high, 20 in wide, 8 in deep Eclipse window door enclosure, at 24 x 20 in the largest face size the series builds in 16 gauge. It encloses electrical or electronic equipment in wallmount applications where viewing of component operation is necessary while maintaining protection ratings.

Construction is formed 16 gauge 304 stainless steel (the series uses 16 gauge for 24 x 20 in and smaller) with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a smooth brushed natural stainless finish. A full view UV resistant polycarbonate window gives maximum viewing area of the inner panel. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door.

Quarter turn latches with a tool slot secure the door; all window door latch types are quarter turns. Hinges, hinge pins and quarter turns are stainless steel, and the door is removable and interchangeable. The drawing shows an 18.52 in wide by 22.52 in high door opening and a 19.97 in wide door. The optional EP2420 inner panel is 22.20 x 18.20 in and mounts on the collar studs provided.

Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 18.50 x 22.50 in centres, with a hardware kit of panel mounting nuts and sealing washers included. Bonding and grounding studs are fitted. The EN4SD24208WSS is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 rated, complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and ships boxed at 34 lbs (15.42 kg).
