Hammond EN4SD20206WSS 20x20x6 in Square Window Door Stainless Enclosure

The EN4SD20206WSS is a square 20 x 20 in Eclipse window door enclosure with a shallow 6 in depth. It is designed to enclose electrical or electronic equipment in wallmount applications where viewing of component operation is necessary while maintaining protection ratings, giving integrators a wide viewing face in a slim profile.

The body is formed 16 gauge 304 stainless steel, the gauge the series uses for 24 x 20 in and smaller sizes, with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a smooth brushed natural stainless finish. A full view UV resistant polycarbonate window allows maximum viewing area of the inner panel. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and the door seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket.

Quarter turn latches requiring a tool hold the door; all window door latch types are quarter turns. Hinges, hinge pins and quarter turns are stainless steel, and doors are removable for modifications and interchangeable. The drawing shows an 18.52 x 18.52 in door opening and a 19.97 in wide door. The optional EP2020 inner panel measures 18.20 x 18.20 in and mounts on collar studs.

Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 18.50 x 18.50 in centres, with an included hardware kit of panel mounting nuts and sealing washers. A bonding stud on the door and grounding stud in the enclosure are provided. The EN4SD20206WSS is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 rated, complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and ships boxed at 26 lbs (11.79 kg).
