Hammond EN4SD242010SSWH 24x20x10-Inch White 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The EN4SD242010SSWH is the narrowest size in the painted white Eclipse Series stainless wallmount line, measuring 24 in x 20 in x 10 in (610 mm x 508 mm x 254 mm). The 20 in width with a 10 in depth suits compact installations that still need room for deeper components. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments.

The enclosure is formed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. Cover and enclosure carry a recoatable smooth RAL 9003 White powder coating inside and out. The door is secured with a 3 point handle in 316 stainless steel with a padlockable feature, seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket, and swings on stainless steel hinges and hinge pins. Door stiffeners are provided where required; doors are removable and interchangeable.

According to the drawing, the door opening is 18.49 in x 22.49 in and the door measures 19.97 in x 23.97 in. The 0.50 in wall mounting holes are on 18.50 in x 22.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. Collar studs are provided for the optional EP2420 inner panel, 22.20 in x 18.20 in (564 mm x 462 mm).

The EN4SD242010SSWH is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It has a bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure, and ships in a box at 38 lbs (17.24 kg).
