Hammond DTS3061A460N3LG 2382 BTU/h 460V NEMA 3R/4 Outdoor Air Conditioner

The DTS3061A460N3LG is the 460 V 50/60 Hz version of the DTS Series 2000-3000 BTU/H outdoor air conditioner, built for side mounting on any enclosure surface where spot cooling or low capacity cooling is required. It lets integrators and plant electricians cool outdoor-rated cabinets straight from a 460 V supply, including in very wet conditions.

Cooling is closed loop, so clean enclosure air never mixes with contaminated ambient air. Capacity is 2382 BTU/h (698 W) at +95/+95F (+35/+35C) per the series data sheet; the part description lists 2500 BTU. The R134a refrigerant charge is 400 g, and an expansion valve allows increased efficiency with less frequent compressor operation. Internal circulation is 191 CFM and external 88 CFM.

The unit operates from 360-506 V, consuming 760 W with 0.76 A running and 18 A starting current, wired to a terminal block. The manual cautions that on three phase (400V/460V) units the supply connections are phase sensitive, and the drilling template carries an extra cutout area marked for 400/460V units only.

The DTS3061A460N3LG has a galvanized sheet metal case in RAL7035 light gray. The part page lists a size of 26 in x 12 in x 14 in (660 x 305 x 356 mm) and a shipping weight of 64 lbs (29.03 kg); the series data sheet refers to the separate 460V datasheet for dimensions. Ratings are NEMA 3R, 4 and IP56, with UL, cUL and CE, for ambient air from +32°F (0°C) to +131°F (+55°C).

The gasket, mounting kit and template for cutout and drilling are included. The unit is filterless, and condensate is discharged directly through a drain hose and clamp on a 1/2" barb connection.
