Hammond DNFF254CG230 254 mm Filtered Fan Kit, 230 VAC, 550 CFM

The DNFF254CG230 is a filtered cooling fan kit built around a 254 mm (10.00 in) AC fan for industrial enclosures, electrical cabinets and rack systems that need active, filtered airflow. Rated 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz at 0.14 A, it delivers 465/550 CFM free-flow air delivery, making it the largest fan size in the DNFF Series and suited to enclosures with a high internal heat load. The grille is supplied in Gray/Beige, the "CG" colour option in this fan size.

The kit pairs a high-quality AC fan with an IP5X-rated replaceable filter so clean air is drawn in while dust and airborne contaminants are reduced at the intake. Both the front screen and the back panel are ABS plastic, and the DNFF Series uses a flame-retardant ABS filter grille. Replacement media is available separately as PFF6000 standard filter media or PLFF6000 pleated filter media, both sold in packs of five, which simplifies routine maintenance.

The assembly measures 305.00 mm (12.008 in) square as viewed from the front, with a 119.30 mm (4.697 in) side profile and a 253.50 mm (9.980 in) diameter fan opening. Installation uses a 279.40 x 279.40 mm (11.000 x 11.000 in) plate cutout with eight 6.35 mm (0.250 in) mounting holes. Mounting hardware is included: 12 panhead self-tapping 10-32 x 1/2" screws, 8 black panhead #10-32 x 1/2" screws, 8 #10 flat washers and 8 #10-32 serrated nuts.

DNFF254CG230 is hard-wired via a 2 ft wire lead rather than a plug, which suits OEM equipment, control panels and permanently installed assemblies, and it can be used with or without an external thermostat. Fan components are UL Recognized to UL 507 and cUL Recognized or CSA Certified to CSA-C22.2 No. 113. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant and listed as TAA compliant.
