Hammond DNFF150CG230 150 mm Filtered Fan Kit, 230 VAC Gray/Beige

DNFF150CG230 is a 150 mm (6.00 in) filtered cooling fan kit from the DNFF Series, built for hard-wired installation in industrial enclosures, electrical cabinets and rack systems. It pairs an AC fan with an IP5X-rated replaceable filter so cooling air is drawn in while dust and airborne contaminants are reduced, helping keep PLCs, drives, network gear and other sensitive electronics at safe operating temperatures.

This version is rated 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0.15 Amps and terminates in 12-inch wire leads rather than a plug, which suits control panels, OEM equipment and permanently wired assemblies. It can be used with or without an external thermostat. Free flow air delivery is 190/230 CFM, with a published noise level of 53 dB.

The front screen and back panel are ABS plastic; the flame-retardant ABS filter grille on DNFF150CG230 is supplied in Gray/Beige (described in the product data as Conductive/Console Grey). The grille assembly measures 196.00 mm [7.717 in] square with a side profile of 154.83 mm [6.096 in], and it mounts over a square plate cutout of 114.55 mm [4.510 in] with four 6.35 mm [0.250 in] diameter mounting holes.

The kit includes the fan, plastic filter grille, replaceable filter, metal safety guard, wiring leads and mounting hardware: two panhead Taptite 10-32 x 1/2 in screws, two flathead #10-32 x 1/2 in screws, two flathead Taptite #10-32 x 1/2 in screws and two #10-32 Locktooth nuts. A sample mounting plate shown on the drawing is not included.

Fan components are UL Recognized to UL 507 and cUL Recognized or CSA Certified to CSA-C22.2 No. 113. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant and TAA compliant. PFF4000 standard filter media and PLFF4000 pleated filter media (packs of 5) are available for routine maintenance, and XPFA exhaust filter grilles can be added for balanced ventilation.
