Hammond DNFF080CG230 80 mm 230 VAC Filtered Fan Kit, 32 CFM

The DNFF080CG230 is a filtered cooling fan kit built around an 80 mm (3.150 in) AC fan rated 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0.05 Amps, with a free flow air delivery of 32 CFM. It is intended for OEM engineers, panel builders, integrators and facilities teams who need to move clean air through an industrial enclosure, electrical cabinet or rack system while helping keep dust and airborne contaminants out. This version ships with the Gray/Beige filter grille.

The kit is hard-wired rather than plug-connected, terminating in 11 inch wire leads, which suits industrial control panels and permanently installed equipment where a standard AC plug is not wanted. It can be used with or without an external thermostat. Measured noise for the 80 mm 230 V version is 34 dB, the quietest rating in the DNFF table.

Both the front screen and back panel are ABS plastic, and the DNFF Series filter grille is flame-retardant ABS. The assembly footprint is 105.00 mm (4.134 in) square, with a side profile of 61.40 mm (2.417 in) and a 81.32 mm (3.201 in) dimension shown on the side view. The required plate cutout is 75.00 mm (2.953 in) square with 15.00 mm (0.591 in) corner radii and 6.00 mm (0.236 in) diameter mounting holes on a 70.00 mm (2.756 in) pattern.

Mounting hardware is included: eight 10-32 x 1/2 in panhead self-tapping screws and four speed nuts, along with the fan, plastic filter grille, replaceable filter and metal safety guard. The filter is IP5X rated, and replacement media is available separately as PFF1000 standard filter media or PLFF1000 pleated filter media, each in packs of five. DNFF080CG230 is RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA compliant, and DNFF Series fan components are UL Recognized to UL 507 and cUL Recognized or CSA Certified to CSA-C22.2 No. 113.
