The CS1212EXT4 adds 4 in of depth to a 12 x 12 Type 1 screw cover junction box. It is for electricians and contractors who need extra space inside an installed CS, CSG, CSKO or CSKOG Series box.
The ring measures 12 in x 12 in x 4 in (305 mm x 305 mm x 102 mm), and the drawing shows a 12.06 in x 12.06 in overall outside size. It is painted steel finished in ANSI 61 gray. For this footprint there is also a 6 in deep gray ring (CS1212EXT6) and an unpainted galvanized 4 in ring (CSG1212EXT4).
