The CS1010EXT4 is a 10 x 10 extender ring that gives a Type 1 screw cover junction box an additional 4 in of depth. It suits electricians working with CS, CSG, CSKO and CSKOG Series boxes that have run out of internal space.
Dimensions are 10 in x 10 in x 4 in (254 mm x 254 mm x 102 mm), with an overall outside size of 10.06 in x 10.06 in on the drawing. The ring is painted steel in ANSI 61 gray, and an unpainted galvanized version is available as the CSG1010EXT4.
Fitting it follows the series procedure: remove the box cover, fix the extender ring using the cover screws, then attach the cover to the ring with the hardware provided. Keyhole shaped mounting holes make assembly quick.
