The CS1212EXT6 is a 6 in deep extender ring for 12 x 12 Type 1 screw cover junction boxes. It gives electricians a way to add substantial depth to an installed CS, CSG, CSKO or CSKOG Series box.
It measures 12 in x 12 in x 6 in (305 mm x 305 mm x 152 mm), with a 12.06 in x 12.06 in overall outside size on the drawing. The ring is painted steel in ANSI 61 gray. The series ordering table lists this 6 in depth in the gray painted finish only; for 4 in of depth on the same footprint, see the CS1212EXT4.
Installation: remove the box cover, fix the extender ring using the cover screws, and attach the cover to the extender ring with the hardware provided. Keyhole shaped mounting holes allow quick assembly.
