The CPR42SZPL is a pair of 24U square hole punched mounting rails from the Hammond CPR Series, designed to add or replace vertical mounting planes inside C2 and REFK Series cabinets. It suits IT and AV integrators, data centre and facilities teams, and OEM engineers who need EIA-standard square hole mounting for switches, servers, patch panels and rack accessories.
Each rail is constructed in 12-gauge steel and finished in zinc steel plate, with mild steel listed as the base material. The mounting face is EIA compliant square hole punched using 0.375" square punches at typical EIA spacing, so you can choose cage nuts for 10-32, 12-24 or M6 threads. Rails come stamped and numbered in 1U (1.75") increments, with silkscreened numbered "U" markings on the front face to speed up layout and equipment alignment.
CPR42SZPL provides 24U of mounting space over a 42.00 in (1067 mm) mounting height, with an overall rail length of 42.03 in (1068 mm) and 41.50 in (1054 mm) of EIA spacing. Five 0.438" x 0.750" obround mounting holes are provided for adjustment during installation. Shipping weight for the pair is 6 lbs (2.72 kg).
The rails bolt vertically in the cabinet and are compatible with both 19" and 24" rack mounting. The side of the rail can be used for rear support or accessory mounting and is compatible with server slides. Mounting hardware is included: strut mounting hardware for both rails plus a starter quantity of 25 10-32 cage nuts.
