Hammond CN4SB604SS 600A 4-Wire Type 4X Stainless Splitter Box, 30x24x7

The CN4SB604SS is a 600/600 A CU/AL, 4-wire stainless steel splitter box, the largest 4-wire model in the CN4SBSS series of Type 4X stainless steel splitter boxes. It is built for contractors splitting a 600 A, 4-wire service in corrosive, washdown or outdoor environments. The series is designed for distribution of up to 600 A (max) service at 600 V max, with 75° C conductor ampacity permitted.

Enclosure dimensions are 30 in high, 24 in wide and 7 in deep (762 x 610 x 178 mm), with 7.87 in overall depth on the drawing. The part drawing gives a 29.97 x 23.97 in door, a 28.49 x 22.36 in door opening, a 28.17 x 22.17 in inner panel, and Ø0.50 in wall mounting holes spaced 28.50 x 22.50 in.

The door is removable and interchangeable, with stiffeners where required, and a white powder coated inner panel is included on collar studs. The CN4SB604SS is CSA Type 3R, 12, 4X and complies with IEC 60529, IP66. It includes a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers, takes optional grounding kit CGK600, ships at 77 lbs (34.93 kg), and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
