Hammond CMCQP3 Universal Support Voltage Panel, HQ Meter Cabinet

The CMCQP3 is the universal support voltage panel used in the CMC Q series, Hammond's Type 1 mild steel metering cabinets in the Hydro Quebec version. It serves electricians and utility contractors who house metering transformers indoors and need the voltage-side support panel, whether as a replacement or a spare. The part page names it Quebec Meter Panel 3, steel with a gray finish, short description HQ MTR CABINET VOLTAGE PANEL.

This is the largest of the three CMC Q panels. The series ordering table lists it at 25.59 in (650 mm) high by 15.01 in (381 mm) wide, matching the 25.59 in by 15.01 in outline on the part drawing, which also shows Ø0.44 in and Ø0.23 in holes. The series specification calls for removable inner panels finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

Unlike the accessory plate and current panel, the voltage panel is a one-per-cabinet part across the whole range. The panel selection guide shows one CMCQP3 supplied with, and a capacity of one in, each of the CMCQ303010, CMCQ363612 and CMCQ484812 cabinets. Order this panel when replacing a damaged or modified panel rather than to add capacity.

The CMC Q cabinets are CSA Type 1 and comply with IEC 60529, IP20. The CMCQP3 is REACH and RoHS compliant, ships in a bag at 13 lbs (5.90 kg), and is identified by UPC 623980344492 and UNSPSC 39121324.
