Hammond CLC4B42BK 4-Bay 10U Colocation Server Cabinet, 42 in Deep

The CLC4B42BK is a four-bay colocation server rack cabinet that divides a single 83.02 in x 24 in x 42 in footprint into four independently accessible equipment compartments, each providing 10U of rack space. It is built for colocation data centers, managed hosting and service provider facilities, meet-me rooms and shared enterprise or multi-department IT environments where several tenants must operate inside one cabinet while keeping their equipment separated and individually secured.

Construction is a 14-gauge welded mild steel frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels, finished in RAL9005 Black textured powder coat (GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant). The cabinet is a UL2416 listed rack (UL File # E474597) rated to a 3,000 lb / 1,360 kg load, and it is seismic tested to a 1,200 lb dynamic equipment load for applicable IBC, CBC, NBCC and ASCE requirements when anchored with the C4K-Z4 bolt-down kit.

Each bay receives two pairs of adjustable-depth EIA-compliant square-hole mounting rails (12-gauge steel) with 10-32 cage nuts, giving 18.19 in (462 mm) of mounting height per bay and 40.13 in (1019 mm) of mounting depth; the 19 in mounting width measures 18.35 in (466 mm). Flush-mounted perforated doors at 63% airflow with locking combination swing handles control access to each section, while fixed vented divider shelves separate the bays and rear access panels leave room for vertical PDU installation and cable routing. Side cable pass-through knockouts and multiple top-panel options support organized overhead routing.

Mounting hardware and the top panel are not included with CLC4B42BK; solid, brush-entry and fan top panels, the CLCSP42BK single solid side panel, CLCCMSP security plates and CLCCMSC cable manager covers are ordered separately. Properly configured with those security accessories and side panels, the cabinet meets PCI DSS requirements. CLC4B42BK is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America.
