Hammond CLC4B48BK 4-Bay 48in Deep Colocation Cabinet, 10U Bays

The CLC4B48BK is a 4-bay colocation server rack cabinet that divides a single 24 in wide, 48 in deep footprint into four independently accessible equipment compartments of 10U each. It is built for colocation data centers, managed hosting and service provider facilities, meet-me rooms and shared enterprise environments where multiple tenants, customers or departments need secure, separately locked space within one cabinet.

Construction is a 14-gauge welded steel frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels, finished in RAL9005 black powder coat (GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant). The cabinet is UL 2416 listed (UL file E474597) with a 3,000 lb (1,360 kg) load rating and is seismic tested to a 1,200 lb dynamic equipment load for applicable IBC, CBC, NBCC and ASCE requirements when anchored with the C4K-Z4 bolt-down kit. It is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America.

Overall size is 83.02 in x 24 in x 48 in (2,109 mm x 610 mm x 1,219 mm) and shipping weight is 444 lbs (201.39 kg). Each of the four bays provides 10U of rack space with 18.19 in (462 mm) of mounting height and 46.13 in (1,172 mm) of mounting depth, using two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-compliant square-hole rails (12-gauge steel) with 10-32 cage nuts. Fixed vented divider shelves separate the bays, and each bay has its own flush-mounted perforated door (63% AFR) with a locking combination swing handle.

Rear access panels behind the dividers support vertical PDU installation and cable routing, while side cable pass-through knockouts, per-bay cable managers and containment provisions allow organized overhead and inter-cabinet routing. CLC4B48BK ships without a top panel and without mounting hardware; optional CLCCMSP security plates and CLCCMSC covers help meet PCI DSS when the cabinet is properly configured.
