Hammond CLC3B42BK 3-Bay 14U Colocation Cabinet, 42 in Deep

The CLC3B42BK is a 3-bay colocation server rack cabinet that divides a single 24 in wide, 42 in deep footprint into three independently accessible equipment compartments of 14U each. It is built for colocation data centers, managed hosting and service provider facilities, meet-me rooms and shared enterprise environments where multiple tenants, customers or departments need secure, separately locked space within one cabinet.

Construction is a 14-gauge welded steel frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels, finished in RAL9005 black textured powder coat (GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant). The cabinet is a UL2416 listed rack with a 3,000 lb (1,360 kg) load rating under UL file E474597, and is seismic tested to a 1,200 lb dynamic equipment load for applicable IBC, CBC, NBCC and ASCE requirements when properly anchored with the C4K-Z4 bolt-down kit. It is TAA-compliant and manufactured in Canada.

Overall dimensions are 83.02 in x 24.00 in x 42.00 in (2,109 mm x 610 mm x 1,067 mm) with a shipping weight of 350 lbs (158.76 kg). Each of the three bays provides 14U of mounting height (24.75 in / 629 mm) with 40.13 in (1,019 mm) of usable mounting depth, served by two pairs of adjustable-depth 12-gauge EIA square-hole mounting rails with 10-32 cage nuts on an 18.35 in (466 mm) 19 in mounting width.

Each bay has its own flush-mounted perforated vented door (63% AFR) with a locking combination swing handle, while fixed divider shelves with cutout cover plates separate the compartments. The CLC3B42BK ships with a lockable side/barrier panel, per-bay cable managers and containment provisions, plus side cable pass-through knockouts for organized routing. Top panel and mounting hardware are not included.
