Hammond CLC2B48BK 2-Bay 21U Per Bay Colocation Cabinet, 48" Deep

The CLC2B48BK is a 2-bay colocation server rack cabinet that divides a single 24 in wide, 48 in deep footprint into two independently accessible equipment compartments of 21U each. It is built for colocation data centers, managed hosting and service provider facilities, meet-me rooms and shared enterprise or multi-department IT environments where separate tenants need secure, individually controlled access while sharing cabinet-level infrastructure.

Construction is a 14-gauge welded mild steel frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels, finished in RAL9005 black textured powder coat. The frame is UL 2416 listed (UL File # E474597) with a 3,000 lb (1,360 kg) load rating, and the series is seismic tested to a 1,200 lb dynamic equipment load for applicable IBC, CBC, NBCC and ASCE requirements when properly anchored with the C4K-Z4 bolt-down kit.

Overall dimensions are 83.02 in x 24 in x 48 in (2,109 mm x 610 mm x 1,219 mm) with a shipping weight of 324 lbs (146.96 kg). Each bay provides 21U with 37.88 in (962 mm) of mounting height, and mounting depth is 46.13 in (1172 mm) of usable space. Every bay includes two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-compliant square-hole mounting rails in 12-gauge steel with 10-32 cage nuts; mounting hardware is not included.

The CLC2B48BK ships with four flush vented perforated doors (63% AFR) with combination lock handles, a fixed divider shelf with cutout cover plates, horizontal mounting channels, cable managers and a lockable side/barrier panel. Side cable pass-through knockouts, containment provisions and removable rear panels support vertical PDU installation and organized cable routing. The top panel is not included; the opening accepts any C2T1923 C2 top panel or CLCH chimney. The cabinet is TAA-compliant, made in Canada, RoHS and REACH compliant, and meets PCI DSS when properly configured with CLCCMSP security plates and CLCCMSC covers.
