Hammond CGG30 30 ft Black Rubber Grommet Strip Roll

The CGG30 is a protective grommet strip supplied as a 30 ft (9.1 m) roll of black rubber edging, intended to be applied around openings and knockouts in racks, cabinets and enclosures for additional cable protection. It is aimed at IT and AV integrators, electricians, OEM engineers and facilities teams who need to finish sharp or unfinished sheet metal edges at cable entry and pass-through points.

The strip installs by pressing over the edge of the panel material and fits material up to 14 gauge steel. Its flexible design conforms to different opening shapes and sizes, and the rubber strip can be cut to fit any opening, so one roll covers multiple knockouts, slots and pass-throughs. In service it helps prevent cuts, abrasion and damage to cable jackets where bundles pass through metalwork.
