Hammond CCR84TZPL 48U Tapped Combination Rack Mount Rail

The CCR84TZPL is a 48U rack mount rail for Hammond C2 modular cabinet systems and REFK rack cabinets. It is a factory-engineered replacement and expansion rail for IT, AV, industrial control and OEM installations where a damaged rail must be swapped out, extra mounting positions are needed, or a cabinet is being refurbished to accept standard 19-inch rack equipment.

Construction is heavy-duty 10-gauge mild steel with a zinc plated finish, which provides corrosion resistance and improves electrical grounding continuity throughout the cabinet. The rail carries EIA-310 compliant 10-32 tapped holes, and numbered "U" markings are stamped on the front face to simplify equipment alignment, installation and future expansion.

This size measures 84.00 in (2134 mm) high with an 83.50 in (2121 mm) EIA hole pattern, 0.86 in (22 mm) wide and 2.45 in (62 mm) deep, giving 48 rack units of usable mounting space. Shipping weight is 24 lbs (10.89 kg).

Unlike a conventional flat rack rail, the CCR84TZPL uses a combination rail profile: equipment mounts to the front face while compatible accessories such as shelves, cable management and specialty hardware can mount directly to the side of the rail. Note that combination rails may conflict with rack slides because of the accessory rail.

The rail installs vertically using the included strut mounting hardware; rack mounting hardware for equipment is sold separately. It is manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility, is TAA compliant, USMCA compliant, and RoHS and REACH compliant.
