Hammond CAK1924 24 to 19-Inch Rack Rail Adapter Kit, 6 Brackets

The CAK1924 is a rail mount adapter kit that converts Hammond C2F24 24-inch cabinet frames to standard 19-inch rack mounting. It is intended for IT and network integrators, telecommunications installers, data center teams and OEM engineers who want to standardize on industry-standard 19-inch servers, switches, patch panels and communications equipment without giving up the benefits of a wider cabinet frame.

Because the adapter brackets move the panel rails inward, the kit creates additional wiring space along both sides of the mounted equipment. That extra room makes cable routing cleaner, reduces congestion around switches and patch panels, and provides space for vertical cable managers so high-density cabling can be organized without sacrificing rack capacity.

Construction is extruded aluminum with a black anodized finish for corrosion resistance and a professional appearance. The kit ships with six adapter brackets plus all required mounting hardware for one complete pair of rack rails, and the brackets install between the panel rail and the horizontal C-channel. Shipping weight is 2 lbs (0.91 kg).

Mounting width conversion for CAK1924 is from 24.00 in (610 mm) to 19.00 in (483 mm), giving standard 19-inch EIA rack mounting so virtually any 19-inch rack equipment can be installed. The engineering drawing identifies the part as a 24" to 19" rack spacer at revision A.
