The C4XSC363612SS is the largest box in the C4XSC line at 36 x 36 x 12 in (914 x 914 x 305 mm). Its 12 gauge 304 stainless steel body and cover, 34.63 in square opening and 12.00 in usable depth make it a large-format Type 4X, IP66 junction or pull box for heavy conductor runs.
Body and cover are 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes, so you punch only the entries your job needs. Captivated stainless steel cover screws thread into sealed wells, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the cover. Enclosure and cover are unpainted with a brushed #4 finish.
Per the drawing, the body measures 36.13 x 36.13 in and the cover 36.19 x 36.19 in, with a 34.63 in high x 34.63 in wide opening, 35.50 x 35.50 in of clear space available on the door and 12.00 in of usable depth. Shipping weight is 101 lbs (45.81 kg).
The box is UL 508A Listed and cULus Listed per CSA C22.2 No 94 for Type 3, 4X and 12, and complies with NEMA Type 3, 4X and 12 and IEC 60529 IP66 (UL File E65324). It is REACH and RoHS compliant. There is no provision for an inner mounting panel; the mounting foot kit C4XMTGFOOT is sold separately, and replacement cover screws (1421A4XLCS25SS) and washers/sealed wells (1421A4XLCW25) come in packs of 25.
