Hammond C4SP7331VBK1 42U Vented Side Panels for 31.5-Inch Deep Cabinet

C4SP7331VBK1 is a pair of vented side panels for the Hammond C4 modular server rack cabinet system, sized for 42U frames with a 31.50 in (800 mm) depth. The perforated panels are intended for data center, enterprise IT and network infrastructure builds where side-to-side thermal induction and airflow through the cabinet sides is wanted, rather than a fully sealed enclosure.

Panels in the C4 platform are formed from 16-gauge steel (the cabinet frame is 14-gauge with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets), and this part is built from mild steel finished in black textured powder coat. Each panel carries a black plastic handle and four slotted quarter-turn latches for tool-free removal and refitting, plus a 10-32 x 1/2 bonding stud so the panel can be tied into the cabinet's grounding and bonding provisions.

The C4 cabinet system is UL2416 listed at a 3000 lb load rating and seismic rated to 1200 lb dynamic load (IBC, CBC, NBC, ASCE standards) when assembled by Hammond; individual components such as these panels are not UL2416 or seismic rated on their own and must be assembled as a complete cabinet to meet those certification requirements. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the part is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, which supports government and public-sector procurement.
