Hammond C4K-Z4 Zone 4 Seismic Bolt Down Kit, Four 3/8" Anchors

The C4K-Z4 is a Zone 4 seismic bolt down kit used to anchor Hammond rack cabinets and open frame racks directly to a concrete floor. It is specified by IT and data center teams, telecom installers, electricians and industrial engineers who need a rack or cabinet permanently secured against movement, and it is required to maintain the published seismic rating of compatible Hammond seismic products.

Each C4K-Z4 kit ships with four heavy-duty anchors sized 0.38 in (10 mm) diameter by 5.00 in (127 mm) long \u2014 the hardware needed for a complete four-corner cabinet installation. The kit is listed for use with DCZ4, C4, H1 and CLC Series enclosures as well as Hammond open frame racks, and works equally well in non-seismic installations where extra cabinet stability is wanted.

Installation is straightforward for both new builds and retrofit work: casters must be removed before the bolt-down kit is installed, after which the anchors secure the rack or cabinet frame to the concrete slab. Because the C4K-Z4 is required to keep the seismic rating of compatible products intact, it should be part of any seismically rated Hammond rack order.
