Hammond C4DF2473VBK1 42U Perforated Flush Door, 63% Open Area

The C4DF2473VBK1 is a 42U vented door built exclusively for use with the C4 Cabinet Series, sized for cabinets 24.00 in (610 mm) wide. It mounts flush with the cabinet frame and closes with a locking quarter-turn latch, making it a practical choice for IT, AV and facilities teams that need secured, ventilated access to rack-mounted equipment.

The door leaf is constructed in 16-gauge mild steel and finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The perforated panel provides 63% open area across a perforated field of 16.38 in (416 mm) by 68.31 in (1735 mm), supporting front-to-back airflow through the cabinet. Perforated doors on both the front and back of the cabinet are suggested for most server applications.

Overall door dimensions are 20.38 in (518 mm) wide by 73.31 in (1862 mm) high, with a 0.69 in (17 mm) profile depth. Shipping weight is 55 lbs (24.95 kg). The assembly ships with three left-hand 180-degree-opening hinges to mount on the cabinet, a black formed plastic handle and a quarter-turn lock with a .531 in high cam.

Installation uses the integrated spring pin at the top and bottom of the door, so C4DF2473VBK1 drops into a C4 Series cabinet without loose hardware kits. As supplied, the door is hinged on the left and swings from right to left; order the C4RHINGE if right-hand hinging is required. A cabinet door replacement lock and a split door retrofit kit are listed as accessories for the series.
