Hammond C4DF2473PBK1 42U Smoked Acrylic Window Cabinet Door

The C4DF2473PBK1 is a 42U acrylic window door designed exclusively for use with Hammond C4 Series cabinets built to a 24.00 in (610 mm) width. It mounts flush with the cabinet frame and is secured with a locking quarter turn, making it a practical choice for network and server cabinets where equipment needs to stay visible and protected at the same time.

The door panel is constructed in 16-gauge mild steel and carries a 6 mm smoked acrylic (Plexiglas) insert, so status LEDs and front-panel displays can be checked without opening the enclosure. It is finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.

Each door ships with the parts needed to hang and secure it: three left-hand hinges rated for 180-degree opening, a formed black plastic handle, and a lock complete with a .531 in high cam (DWS220-9208). As supplied, C4DF2473PBK1 is hinged on the left and swings from right to left; if right-hand hinging is required, the C4RHINGE kit is ordered separately. Installation into a C4 Series cabinet uses the integrated spring pin at the top and bottom of the door.

Drawing dimensions for this door are 73.31 in (1862 mm) high by 20.38 in (518 mm) wide with a 0.69 in (17 mm) section, and the shipping weight is 55 lbs (24.95 kg). The door is manufactured in North America (country of origin CA), is USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliant, and is TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases.

Note that for most server applications, perforated doors on both the front and back of the cabinet are the suggested configuration; a window door is better suited to installations where visibility is the priority.
