The C3R12126HCLO is a square 12 x 12 x 6 in (305 x 305 x 152 mm) Type 3R enclosure with a lift-off hinge door and snap-style draw pull catches. The square format gives electricians equal room in both directions for outdoor junction work.
Construction follows the C3R HCLO series: the body is formed and spot welded from 16 gauge galvanized steel with an extended height door and seam-free sides, front and back. The door hangs on galvanized steel lift-off hinges with stainless steel pins and is held closed by zinc-plated draw pull catches with provisions for padlocking. A foam gasket seals the door opening, the back has embossed mounting holes, and the enclosure and cover are finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating.
