The C3R1086HCLO steps up to a 10 in high, 8 in wide, 6 in deep (254 x 203 x 152 mm) Type 3R enclosure. Its vertical format and lift-off hinge door make it well suited to contractors and facilities teams who need a small outdoor wiring/junction box with room for components on the optional inner panel.
Construction follows the C3R HCLO series: the body is formed and spot welded from 16 gauge galvanized steel with an extended height door and seam-free sides, front and back. The door hangs on galvanized steel lift-off hinges with stainless steel pins and is held closed by zinc-plated draw pull catches with provisions for padlocking. A foam gasket seals the door opening, the back has embossed mounting holes, and the enclosure and cover are finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating.
On the C3R1086HCLO drawing the door measures 10.88 in high by 8.38 in wide and the door opening is 8.81 in by 6.81 in; a ground stud is shown on the body. Use the optional 14R0707 inner panel (6.75 x 6.88 in) with the C3RHCLOPK1 panel mounting kit. The C3RHCLOMFK1 mounting foot kit is the listed foot option for this enclosure. Shipping weight is 9 lbs (4.08 kg), and it ships in a box.
