Hammond C3R16126HCLO 16x12x6 in Type 3R Lift-Off Hinge Door Enclosure

The C3R16126HCLO is a 16 in high, 12 in wide, 6 in deep (406 x 305 x 152 mm) Type 3R wiring/junction box. It is the largest size in the series that uses the Type 1 panel and foot kits, and its tall format gives a taller mounting area on the optional inner panel in outdoor locations.

Construction follows the C3R HCLO series: the body is formed and spot welded from 16 gauge galvanized steel with an extended height door and seam-free sides, front and back. The door hangs on galvanized steel lift-off hinges with stainless steel pins and is held closed by zinc-plated draw pull catches with provisions for padlocking. A foam gasket seals the door opening, the back has embossed mounting holes, and the enclosure and cover are finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

On the C3R16126HCLO drawing the door measures 16.88 in high by 12.38 in wide and the door opening is 14.81 in by 10.81 in; a ground stud is shown on the body. The optional 14R1311 inner panel measures 12.75 x 10.88 in and installs with the C3RHCLOPK1 panel mounting kit; the C3RHCLOMFK1 foot kit is the listed mounting-foot option. Shipping weight is 15 lbs (6.80 kg), and it ships in a box.

The enclosure is rated UL-50 Type 3R and CSA Type 3R and complies with NEMA Type 3R and IEC 60529, IP24, providing protection against rain, sleet, snow and dripping water. It is listed as RoHS and REACH compliant.
