Hammond C2T2431FBK1 6-Cutout Cabinet Fan Top Panel, Black Steel

The C2T2431FBK1 is a black, 14-gauge steel fan top panel from the C2TF Series, intended for IT, network, telecom, AV and broadcast teams who need to add cooling or overhead cable entry to an existing rack cabinet. It ships as an open-cutout panel: each of the six 4.70 in (119 mm) openings can accept a 4 in tube axial fan, be left open for cable access, be closed with a cover, or any combination of the three.

Construction is mild steel with a RAL9005 black powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, so the panel suits indoor equipment rooms with air-quality requirements. The panel measures 25.00 in (635 mm) by 23.75 in (603 mm) overall with 23.00 in (584 mm) mounting hole spacing and a 0.07 in (2 mm) formed edge, and shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg). Cutout diameter is 4.56 in (116 mm).

Fans are not included with C2T2431FBK1 - DNFK4AC120 tube axial fans are sold separately, and metal fan guards and filter fan grills are available as accessories. No thermostat is included, and cable entry is an optional way to use the openings rather than a factory grommet kit.

Mounting hardware is included: the panel comes with CLPKIT832-6 cabinet mounting hardware, consisting of 8-32 U-clip nuts and 8-32 x 1/2 screws. Installation is straightforward with a Phillips screwdriver - fit the U-clip nuts to the top of the cabinet frame, set the panel in place, loosely install the screws, then tighten. The C2TF Series is designed for use with C2, C2RR, C4, C4RR_A, C4RR_S, C4RR_D, H1, RCK and CLC cabinet series; H1 cabinets require the H1TC Series for mounting. The part is TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant, REACH and RoHS compliant, made in Canada, and carries cruus and TAA-compliant standards listings. A light gray equivalent is offered as C2T2431FLG1.
