Hammond C2T2431F10BK1 10-Inch Pre-Wired Fan Top Panel, 550 CFM

The C2T2431F10BK1 is a pre-wired rack cabinet fan top panel fitted with a single 10 in (254 mm) ball-bearing-class AC fan rated for 550 CFM free flow air delivery. It is intended for IT, network, telecom, AV and broadcast teams that need to convert a passively cooled rack cabinet into an actively cooled one without field-wiring a fan assembly.

The panel is built from steel (mild steel, 14-gauge construction per the C2TF Series) and finished in RAL9005 Black powder coat, part of a finish system that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The fan opening is protected by a chrome-plated finger guard, and the top itself is painted steel. Overall panel dimensions on the drawing are 635.00 mm [25.000 in] by 603.25 mm [23.750 in], with a 228.60 mm [9.000 in] diameter fan cutout; the nominal size designation for this model is 24 x 31.

Electrically, the factory-wired fan is rated 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0.29 Amps and terminates in a 6 ft power cord, so no electrician-level wiring is required at the cabinet. The fan is cURus Recognized to UL507 and CSA C22.2 No. 113. Airflow is 550 CFM with a 60 dB noise rating. This version does not include a thermostat and does not include cable entry grommets.

Mounting follows the standard C2TF top panel method: 8-32 U-clip (speed) nuts are installed on the top of the cabinet frame, the panel is set in place, and 8-32 x 1/2" round head screws are loosely started and then tightened with a Phillips screwdriver. Six screws and six speed nuts are supplied with C2T2431F10BK1. The series is designed for use with C2, C2RR, C4, C4RR_A, C4RR_S, C4RR_D, H1, RCK or CLC cabinets; H1 cabinets require the H1TC Series for mounting. The part is TAA-compliant and manufactured in Canada.
