Hammond C2T1936VLG1 20 x 28.25 in Vented Cabinet Top Panel, Light Gray

The C2T1936VLG1 is a vented steel top panel from the Hammond C2TV Series, sized 20.00 in (508 mm) wide by 28.25 in (718 mm) deep. It replaces or upgrades a cabinet top to provide passive ventilation, letting heat rise and escape naturally from the top of an enclosure without adding fans. It suits IT, network, telecom, AV and structured cabling teams managing thermal load in populated rack cabinets.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel with a light gray (ASA61) powder coat finish; the part drawing identifies the coating as RAL7035 textured. The powder coat is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental requirements, and the panel is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America for government procurement. RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliance are declared, with ECCN EAR99 and country of origin CA.

This is the non-cable-entry version of the 19-series 36 in panel, so it offers vented airflow with a closed top perimeter rather than corner grommet openings. Per the series cabinet sizing chart, the C2T1936 size fits C2 cabinets measuring 23.00 in wide x 36.00 in deep and C4 cabinets measuring 24.00 in wide x 42.00 in deep. The C2TV Series is designed for use with C2, C2RR, C4, C4RR_A, C4RR_S, C4RR_D, H1, RCK or CLC cabinet series; H1 cabinets require the H1TC Series for mounting.

Each C2T1936VLG1 ships with mounting hardware: six 8-32 clip nuts with black oxide finish and six 8-32 x 0.5 in zinc-plated machine screws, available as replacement kit CLPKIT832-6. The panel has six 0.22 in (6 mm) diameter holes plus oblong 0.24 in x 1.50 in (6 mm x 38 mm) slots for fastening. Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg).
