Hammond C2RR197031LG1 40U Welded Steel Rack Cabinet, 31.5 in Deep

The C2RR197031LG1 is a 40U welded steel rack cabinet from the C2RR Rapid Rack series, finished in RAL 7035 Light Gray textured powder coat. It is built for AV integrators, test and measurement labs, telecom rooms and industrial or automation panels where equipment is fixed-mounted and a strong, ready-to-use cabinet is needed rather than a knock-down frame.

Construction is a 14-gauge welded mild steel frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels, rated for a 1500 lb load capacity. The C-channel strut design adds frame strength while allowing flexible rail positioning. Two sets of infinitely adjustable, EIA-310 compliant 10-32 tapped combination mounting rails in 12-gauge steel are included, along with a starter pack of 10-32 mounting hardware (SCREW1032-25).

Overall dimensions are 23.00 in (584 mm) wide by 31.50 in (800 mm) deep, with an overall height of 78.16 in (1985 mm) including leveling feet as listed in the series table; the part page lists a nominal size of 77.31 in x 23 in x 31.5 in (1,964 mm x 584 mm x 800 mm). Usable mounting space is 70.06 in (1780 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 29.50 in (749 mm) deep. Shipping weight is 266 lbs (120.66 kg).

C2RR197031LG1 ships fully assembled, so no on-site assembly is required. It includes a flush-mounted solid locking door with quarter-turn lock (usable front or rear), a solid top panel, and a removable solid side panel pair with quarter-turn latches. The bottom is open for cable entry from below, the top panel is interchangeable for cable entry, ventilation or fan panels, and grounding studs are provided on the frame, doors and panels. Factory-installed nylon leveling feet (5/16-18 thread) include 1/4-20 caster mounting provisions and 0.50 in lagging points. The cabinet is TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and made in Canada.
