Hammond BWK6A12 12 in 6 AWG Rack Bonding Wire Kit

The BWK6A12 is a rack cabinet ground kit built around a single 12.00 in (305 mm) length of #6 AWG bonding wire. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical installers who need to bond racks, cabinets, cable runway and enclosed equipment frames together as part of a grounding and bonding system.

The cable is #6 AWG 266 strand copper, MTW/TEW UL1283 type, with green insulation and a yellow stripe for easy identification as a bonding conductor. Both ends are finished with two-hole compression lugs; the bolt holes measure 0.28 in (7 mm) in diameter and are spaced 0.62 in (16 mm) apart, and the lug terminals are sized for 1/4 in studs. The kit is constructed with UL Listed components.

Mounting hardware is included for fastening to either 1/4-20 or 10-32 studs, and a stick-on grounding symbol is supplied for compliance labelling. The kit ships with one cable and does not include quick-disconnecting terminals. Shipping weight is 0.29 lbs (0.13 kg).
