Hammond BWK6A10 6 AWG 10-Inch Bonding Wire Kit, Two-Hole Lugs

The BWK6A10 is a rack and cabinet ground kit built around a single 10.00 in (254 mm) length of #6 AWG bonding wire. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical installers who need to bond adjacent frames, doors, side panels, vertical cable managers and other rack components back to a common grounding point so that all metallic parts of an enclosure system share one electrical reference.

The conductor is #6 AWG, 266-strand copper of MTW/TEW UL1283 type, with green insulation and a yellow stripe for easy identification as a bonding conductor. Both ends are terminated with two-hole compression lugs; each lug has two bolt holes measuring 0.28 in (7 mm) / 0.281 in (7.14 mm) in diameter on 0.62 in (16 mm) / 0.625 in (15.88 mm) centres, sized for 1/4 in studs. The two-hole pattern resists rotation once torqued, keeping the termination square to the bonding pad.

Mounting hardware is included in the kit for fastening to either 1/4-20 or 10-32 studs, and a stick-on grounding symbol is supplied to mark the bonding point for compliance. The kit ships with one cable and does not use quick-disconnecting terminals, so terminations are bolted for a permanent, low-resistance connection.

BWK6A10 is constructed with UL Listed components and is manufactured in North America. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, and TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases. Shipping weight is 0.27 lbs (0.12 kg).
